Your photos, under your control
Snapper is an interval camera for iPhone. It processes photos on your device and does not upload your photos to us. You do not need an account. The app does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics. During normal camera use, Snapper does not collect personal data from your device.
Camera and Photos permissions
Camera access lets Snapper take photos after you start a session. Optional add-only Photos access lets it save new pictures to your photo library. Snapper does not browse your existing library, request your location, or record microphone audio. You can skip Photos access and use the camera without saving to your library.
Storage and deletion
The camera creates temporary image files in the app’s local cache. iOS may remove cached files; deleting the app removes its local data. Turning Save to Photos off prevents new pictures from being added to Photos, but is not a secure-erasure function. Saved pictures remain in Photos until you delete them there, including from Recently Deleted if you want to remove them permanently. Deleting Snapper does not delete pictures already saved to Photos.
Apple services and your choices
If you use iCloud Photos or device backups, Apple may sync or back up your pictures according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. Snapper does not control those services. You can change Snapper’s camera and Photos permissions in iOS Settings at any time. Leaving the app stops further automatic captures; a photo already being taken or saved may finish.
Support and external links
If you choose to email support, your email provider sends your address, message, and any attachments you include. We use that information to answer your request, not for advertising or sale. Please do not send private photos unless they are necessary for your request. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations; you can ask us to delete it. Opening a support website uses your browser, whose hosting provider may process ordinary connection logs under its own privacy policy.
Policy changes
If Snapper’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated. This policy describes the free 1.0 release.
